National Line™ Balance and Holding Tank Systems
Nemato National LineT balance or holding tanks can be designed to meet site specific requirements in either vertical or horizontal configurations. The tanks are constructed of Fiberglass Reinforced Isophthalic or Vinylester Resin (F.R.P.) which can be used in applications ranging from high corrosion chemical storage to food grade water retention. Each tank is manufactured to ASTM and ASME tank standards using molded surfaces for all critical dimensions and are suitable for a wide range of operating temperatures up to 80º Celsius. The tanks are totally non-corrosive and have a high gloss gel-coat finish with UV protection. The tanks can be designed for working pressures of 15 PSIG to 100 PSIG with a 4 to 1 safety factor.
The tanks are shipped with all internal components and a drain port in a fully assembled state. All National LineT tanks have integrally molded, with site specific orientation, of FRP or PVC vanstone flange connections. Each tank can come with an optional 12" X 16" internally mounted F.R.P. or F.R.P./ Clear Acrylic cover, externally mounted 18" F.R.P. or Clear Acrylic flanged cover, integrally molded F.R.P. saddle supports, body flanges to accommodate installation access issues.
National Line™ Vertical Balance and Holding Tank
National LineT vertical balance tanks are available in seven (7) designs. They come in 34", 42", 60", 72", 84", 96" and 120" diameter tanks. They provide a wide range of volume options ranging from 150 to 3,000 U.S. Gallons of retention in one tank. Tank heights can be varied to
the specific needs of each equipment room and can be manufactured from 34 in. to 30 ft. National LineT vertical tanks have integrally molded, with site specific orientation, FRP or PVC vanstone flange connections or in-board couplings when access is an issue. Each tank can come with an optional 12" X 16" internally mounted F.R.P. or F.R.P./ Clear Acrylic cover, externally mounted 18" F.R.P. or Clear Acrylic flanged cover. Along with several plumbing and access cover options, the vertical tanks are available with optional lifting lugs, flat bottom with hold down lugs, sight glass and molded F.R.P. saddle supports.
National Line™ Horizontal Balance and Holding Tank
National LineT horizontal balance tanks are available in seven (7) designs. They come in 34", 42", 60", 72", 84", 96" and 120" diameter tanks. They provide a wide range of volume options ranging from 150 to 3,000 U.S. Gallons of retention in one tank. Horizontal balance or holding tanks provide a significant increase in tank surface area as compared
to vertical tanks of the same volume. This increased surface area dramatically reduces water level fluctuation rates in the tank during rapidly changing bather loads in heavily used pools or spas. Tank lenths can be varied to the specific needs of each equipment room and can be manufactured from 34 in. to 30 ft. National LineT horizontal tanks have integrally molded, with site specific orientation, FRP or PVC vanstone flange connections or in-board couplings when access is an issue. Each tank can come with an optional 12" X 16" internally mounted F.R.P. or F.R.P./ Clear Acrylic cover, externally mounted 18" F.R.P. or Clear Acrylic flanged cover. Along with several plumbing and access cover options, the vertical tanks are available with optional lifting lugs, flat bottom with hold down lugs, sight glass, molded F.R.P. saddle supports and stacking configurations.
National Line™ Horizontal Balance and Holding Tank Access and Handling Solutions
National LineT 34" balance and holding tanks have an exterior molded surface for control of the 34" overall outside diameter. The controlled outside diameter and lightweight modular design allows for handling without special lifting equipment. All National LineT 34" balance and holding tanks can
be walked through openings as small as 34 ¼" and are available in volumes up to 320 U.S. Gallons.
For larger volume requirements where National LineT 34" balance and holding tanks just won't work, body flanges are available for larger diameter tanks. The body flanges can be positioned to accommodate every access and installation requirement while allowing for field assembly without specialized FRP experience.
National Line™ Modulating Float Valves
Horizontal Modulating Float Valves
National LineT horizontal modulating float valves are constructed of non-corrosive (FRP, Stainless Steel, Teflon and Polyethylene) material, which will provide years of trouble free service. The float valves are designed for working pressures up to 11 P.S.I.G., a
vailable in sizes ranging from 2" to 14" and operating flow rates from 60 to 2,600 U.S. GPM.
The float valves are ideal for use on main drain open discharge lines in surge or balance tanks. The float valve has an imbalanced wafer type disc that is fully open when the floats are down and 5% open when the floats are in the up position. The unique imbalanced design prevents sticking in the closed position by utilizing pool water column pressure to assist in opening the valve. Smooth and reliable valve operation is assured through the use of shoulder bolts and Teflon bushings at every moving joint of the stainless steel linkage. The valve has a stop arm for position location and prevention of linkage elbow inversion.
Float valve operation is driven through the use of 7" polyethylene floats with four field adjustable locations. Ideal surge or balance tank operating level can be set from 14" to 31" above the main drain centerline. All horizontal modulating float valves are rated for pool/ spa and salt-water applications.
In-Line Modulating Float Valves National LineT in-line modulating float valves are constructed of non-corrosive (FRP, Stainless Steel, Teflon and Polyethylene) material, which will provide years of trouble free service. The float valves are designed for working pressures up to 11 P.S.I.G., available in sizes ranging from 2" to 14" and operating flow rates from 60 to 2,600 U.S. GPM.
The float valves are ideal for use between two companion flanges on main drain lines in surge or balance tanks and are field adjustable for installation in either vertical or horizontal configurations. The float valve has an imbalanced wafer type disc that is fully opened when the floats are down and 5% open when the floats are in the up position.
The unique imbalanced design prevents sticking in the closed position by utilizing pool water column pressure to assist in opening the valve. Smooth and reliable valve operation is assured through the use of Teflon bushings between the valve body flange and stainless steel valve body shaft.
Float valve operation is driven through the use of 7” polyethylene floats. All in-line modulating float valves are rated for pool/ spa and salt-water applications.
